Terms & Conditions

When requesting and/ or booking an appointment you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • EquiLife USA LLC and their staff are not a vet and thus will not diagnose problems your horse may have, and may advise your horse be referred to your Vet or other relevant professional if necessary (farrier, dentist, etc).

​

  • Payment for services rendered is required either in cash, via Venmo, Zelle, Bank Transfer or via Credit Card at the time of the appointment or prior to. EquiLife USA charges their appointments by the hour in 15 minute increments. 

​

  • A 24 hour cancellation policy applies. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged. Please try and give as much notice as possible if you need to rearrange your appointment. Exceptional circumstances will be taken into consideration.

​

  • Please be on time with your horse and ensure your horse is clean and dry prior to treatment (including hoofs picked). If EquiLife USA attends your horse and is unable to treat the horse due to it being wet/muddy, the full treatment cost will still be due. Clients forfeit any time remaining during their appointment time for which they arrive late. 

​

  • If EquiLife USA is treating several horses at the same barn/ group appointment it is advised to discuss the treatment order of the horses with Karin Spitzlei beforehand, as every horse is different and treatment times can vary slightly. 

​

  • Ensure your treatment appointment is not booked around times that could be disruptive to your horse, i.e. feeding or agistment turnout times, and the area around your horse is safe to provide the treatment. Having a quiet working area ensures your horse can get the most out of their session.

​

  • Treatments are undertaken entirely at the owners own risk.

​

  • For Rider Seat Improvement and Groundwork session it is recommended to be at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.

​

  • Session will go ahead in all weather, except those that present a safety risk. EquiLife USA will inform you at their earliest convenience if a coaching session has to be rescheduled due to weather. 

​

  • EquiLife USA does not take responsibility whatsoever for any accident/injury sustained by equines/handlers during any treatment.

​

  • If your horse has sustained an injury, lameness, or suffered an illness between booking the appointment and attending your horse, EquiLife USA may be unable to treat your horse. Please let EquiLife know at your earliest convenience if this is the case.

​

  • Some contraindications to massage include:

    • fever or shock

    • fungal, bacterial or viral infections and some skin conditions such as ringworm

    • tumours

    • last trimester of pregnancy
